With 23 years of service in the school system as Director of Maintenance for an entire district, he was honored as a School District Employee of the Year and was previously recognized with accolades such as the Eauclaire Beta Club and FBLA awards in high school. In addition to his professional achievements, he is an active church volunteer and enjoys catering, business ventures, and traveling.
